Dog portrait process was smooth
I ordered a custom dog portrait of my cocker spaniel, Buddy, in colored pencil. The ordering process on the website was clear enough for submitting photos and details. Katrin was responsive to my initial inquiry about photo quality. It took about 6 weeks for the portrait to be finished, which was within the timeframe mentioned on the site. Delivery to the US took 8 days once shipped, arriving well-packaged and undamaged. The quality of the drawing is excellent; she really captured his expression. My only small note is that tracking updates were a bit sparse between leaving the UK and arriving in the US, but it got here safely. Overall, I'm very pleased with the final artwork and the communication throughout.
Worth the price for the art
I was looking for a special gift and decided on a charcoal pet portrait. I compared a few artists, and while Katrin's wasn't the cheapest, the portfolio looked promising. There wasn't an active discount when I ordered, but I felt the detail in her work justified the cost. Shipping wasn't extra which was a plus. The portrait of my friend's horse was spot on and made a great impression. For a unique, hand-drawn piece, the value was definitely there.
My cat looks great!
Got a pastel pet portrait of my cat, Mittens. It turned out super cute! I just sent in a few pictures and Katrin did the rest. It did take a while to get it done, like 7 weeks or something, but that was okay. When it arrived, it was really well packed. Mittens looks just like herself in the drawing. Happy with it.
Good quality, consistent results
This was my third time ordering from Katrin Snell Artist, this time a limited edition print of a fox. I've bought greeting cards and a custom cat portrait before. The print quality is consistent with my past purchases, colors are vibrant and the paper feels nice. Delivery was quicker this time, 6 days to get to me in Texas, compared to the 8 days for the last print. It's why I keep coming back, reliable service and beautiful artwork.
